- AMENDMENT 2 The Attachments added with Amendment 1 and dated 10 Sep 13 were incorrectly named Amendment 1 and 2. They are Attachments 1 and 2. AMENDMENT 0001 10 SEP 13 1. Correct reference below from FAR clause 13.6 to 13.5. Sentence is changed as follows: The ensuring award will is under the authority of FAR Subparts 12......and FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Acquisiton Procedures. 2. Makes changes to ATTN1 STATEMENT OF WORK as follows: a. Adds additional descriptions to material/equipment as noted throughout. b. Adds to CLIN 900 REFERENCES the Marad Coating Guidelines. 3. Makes changes to ATTN2 TERMS AND CONDITIONS as follows: a. MCL.F-1 Status Reporting is removed in its entirerty b. MCL.F-2 DELIVERY 7 SHIFTING OF VESSELS is edited to remove the Contractor's responsiblity to prepare for tow of the vessel to and from contractor's facility. c. Paragraph 3.8 MCL-H-10 SUPPLEMENTAL GROWTH REQUIREMENTS is changed to change the CLIN reference from 35 to 800. d. Paragraph 4.7 PROGRESS PAYMENTS UNDER SHIP REPAIR is changed to removed the TAR reference number. 4. A second ship check will be taking place during the lunch hour on September 11, 2013 starting promptly at 11:00. Please be on time due to the vessel availability only being during lunch time. 5. Bidders are reminded to acknowledge Amendments with there offers. *******ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITION REMAIN UNCHANGED. ********** The Request for Quotation number is DTMA-94-Q-2013-0022 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular, FAC 2005-69, effective August 1, 2013 This acquisition is a Small Business set aside for offerors' business size not to exceed 1,000 employees. The NAICS is 336611 SHIP REPAIR The contract type will be a firm-fixed-priced contract. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for proposals. A written solicitation will not be issued. The ensuing award is under the authority of FAR Subpart 12 "Acquisitions of Commercial Items" and FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
