- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The solicitation number is W912LR-13-T-0027 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-68. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541512 with a small business size standard of $25.5M.This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2013-09-17 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be The Adjutant General's Office 100 General Estevez Street San Juan, Puerto Rico 00901-2104. The Puerto Rico National Guard intends to award a firm-fixed price contract and is seeking for quotes to implement a quote mark turnkey solution quote mark Network Signage System for different offices located at The Adjutant General Office (TAGO). The intention of the National Guard is to provide a Common Operational Picture (COP) to this office. PRNG TAGO intent is to install six (6EA) Network Signage systems to provide a COP to our Adjutant General and his staff as well as to provide awareness, improve internal or external communications, encourage certain behaviors, increase customer satisfaction and motivate employees. It shall be able to inform, educate and communicate in real-time, and be used as an emergency notification system. This service must be totally independent form the PRNG Network domain but may query Active Directory (AD) for authentication purposes. Vendor shall furnish and install Display Screens/Touch screens, Display stands/racks, wiring infrastructure (to include CAT6 and electrical cabling) solutions, and additional equipment as required. Other network equipment/information such as switches and IP addresses will be provided by PRNG. The Puerto Rico National Guard - requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: CLIN 0001 LED SONY 46 quote mark FWD-S46H2TOUCH QTY (2) CLIN 0002 LED SONY 55 quote mark FWD-S55H2TOUCH QTY (2) CLIN 0003 LED SONY 46 quote mark FWD-S46H2/DS QTY (2) Other requirements needed are: Complete network signage equipment solution Initial programming 4hrs of training for 5 employees The proposed timeline for this acquisition is as follows: Issue combined synopsis/solicitation: Tuesday, 10 September 2013 Proposal due date: Tuesday, 17 September 2013 /2:00pm EST(local time) Anticipated Award Notification: Friday, 20 September 2013 /2:00pm EST(local time) New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or quote mark gray market quote mark items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Quote MUST be good for 30 calendar days after close of Buy. Shipping must be free on board (FOB) destination OCONUS (Overseas Continental U.S.), which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination. 52.212-2 EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (b) Best Value No partial shipments are permitted unless specifically authorized at the time of award.
