- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price 100 percent small business set-aside procurement action with provisions for Catholic/Protestant Organist services, with a certification from the American Guild of Organists as requested by Washington Navy Yard Chapel, Washington, DC. The support services will be acquired in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.2 - Full and Open Competition After Exclusion of Sources, FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Subpart 19.8 - Contracting with the Small Business Administration (The 8(a) Program). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 711130 - Musical Groups and Artists, the Size Standard is $10.0M. A complete Request for Quote package will be available for downloading at the FEDBIZOPPS Website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 10 September 2013 August 2013. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the stated site, since this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the Offeror is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
