Description
FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Mr. David M. Kovalski david.m.kovalski.ctr@mail.mil SAMD is conducting market research to locate capable sources to provide the Sustainment and Support services for a quantity of 26 ea. IPV SMART-T's. The term of any contract that may be awarded as a result of this market research will be for 3 years. The IPV SMART-T is implemented at user sites worldwide and deployable with little or no impact to current or on-going operations. The IPV SMART-T will retain compliance with MIL-STD-1582D (SECRET NOFORN) and MIL-STD-188-136 (SECRET NOFORN) and must be compliant with all IPV SMART-T terminal specifications, including MIL-STD-3015 (SECRET NOFORN). The IPV SMART-T operates only with the Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellite system Extended Data Rates (XDR) waveform. The terminal is transportable and palletized and integrated onto either a Mercedes Benz G-290 truck or used in a towable Trailer configuration. The IPV SMART-T uses the next generation AEHF satellite system that provides higher data rates with jamming protection. The Government does not have full disclosure rights to the IPV SMART-T technical data package; therefore, the prospective contractor will need to obtain rights to the IPV SMART-T technical data package from Raytheon Company, 1001 Boston Post Rd, Marlborough, MA, the developer and manufacturer of the IPV SMART-T. It is requested that sources capable of meeting the Government's above technical requirements provide a White Paper of no more than 25 pages detailing its products and their ability to provide the required sustainment and support services. This shall include hardware and software maintenance, repair to the circuit board level for all IPV SMART-T components and overall management and coordination of these services. All information should be submitted no later than 11 Oct 2013. Questions and the final White Paper submissions will be directed to the Technical POC, Mr. David M. Kovalski at david.m.kovalski.ctr@mail.mil, Security Assistance Management Directorate, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005.
