Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Regional Office, Providence, RI intends to negotiate on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source, with Sonant Corporation, 6215 Ferris Square, Suite, 220, San Diego, CA 92121 for the service and maintenance on the Interactive Voice Response System. This requirement will include the following characteristics: Product Description 1.Education Certification System (3) and Other Education Certification Systems Software 2.Insurance System Salient Characteristics Authorized contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the following: 1.Maintenance shall cover all hardware and software that is involved with the currently installed Insurance and Education Sonant Systems. 2.Maintenance shall be 24/7, excluding Federal holidays 3.All emergency coverage outside of normal VA Business hours (6:30am-6:00pm M-F) shall be via authorized contractor supplied hotline for after-hour calls. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than September 10, 2013 by 03:00 PM. Responses should be sent to kimberly.tomasi@va.gov. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
