This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for services in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION IS INCLUDED WITH THIS SYNOPSIS. 2) Solicitation W912P9-13-T-7123 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Circular 2005-11 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. 4) The solicitation is quote mark SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASISDE quote mark. 5) DESCRIPTION: Provide baseline data on the presence of Indian bats, as well as other bat species, determine known colony locations, and document the presence of white-nose syndrome. Please see the scope of work included in the solicitation. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the lowest price to the government. Electronic copies or fax copies are required. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be Monday, 9 Sep 2013 at 10:00 AM. This combined Synopsis/Solicitation, potential offerors are responsible to check the information at www.fedbizopps.gov The solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov Potential offerors MUST register at the St. Louis Contracting Division Home page at http://www.mvs.usace.army.mil/ct/ct/htm and/or at www.fedbizopps.gov./ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the FedBizOpps web site. Prospective offerors who would like their company name included on the IVL list may do so on the Fedbizopps website under IVL. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. All interested parties MUST be registered in the System Award Management Database (SAM) in order to receive a contract award.
