- The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) and the Project Manager, Installation Information Infrastructure Communications and Capabilities (I3C2) are requesting information to inform the Government's acquisition of Installation Information Infrastructure Sustainment (I3S) services. This acquisition will support the need for urgent sustainment of the critical systems delivered and installed at Army installations on a global basis by PM I3C2 through its Product Managers. These Product Managers are Product Manager (PdM) Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP) and PdM Power Projection Enablers (P2E). PdM P2E oversees I3C2-Pacific projects. The I3S acquisition, under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541512, is contemplated as a single-award IDIQ contract with Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursement Task Orders intended to provide urgent Life Cycle Sustainment support for all I3MP and P2E fielded systems for any installed equipment: After the expiration of the warranty period Outside the parameters of the warranty Not covered by warranty Requiring support in excess of warranty provisions Preceding technology refresh Interested, capable, and experienced parties that can provide the required services and equipment are requested to respond to this Request for Information/Sources Sought posting (RFI). Responses to this RFI will assist the Army in determining if sources exist that are capable of satisfying the Army's requirements and how industry experts would approach meeting this requirement. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses will not be returned. Information provided in response to this RFI will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for determining how to proceed in the acquisition process. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 15.201(e), responses are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is to gather information and allow industry partners to describe their technical capabilities and demonstrated experience in the disciplines identified within the I3S scope. All interested contractors are requested to provide written response in the areas described below. A response is necessary in order to assist in determining the potential levels of interest, adequacy of competition, and technical capabilities to provide the required services.
