- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for non-commercial supplies. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to National Instruments. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for the listed National Instruments supplies: various equipment to support shaker system (composed of: NI PXI-5105, 8-ch, 60 MS/s Digitizer w/ 128 MB Onboard Memory; NI PXI-5422, 200 MS/s Arb, 16-bit, 8 MB; SMB110, SMB to BNC Male Coax Cable, 50 Ohm,1 m; and Tripod Adapter for NI 17XX Smart Camera). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all RFQs received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically at https://www.eps.gov and the FedBizOpps (FBO) site located at https://www.fbo.gov. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award.
