- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Proposal SPE4A513R1453 is being issued on 9/11/13 with a closing date of 9/23/13. This item is currently sole source to General Electric (CAGE 07482), Part Number - 1347M95G09 and Chromalloy San Diego Corporation (CAGE 0ALH8), Part Number - 1347M95G05CMI, NSN 2835-01-519-7775, PR0049668008, Shroud Segment, Turbine Engine, Unrestricted. This solicitation is for a total quantity of 86 each. All pieces are to be delivered in 288 DARO or best possible delivery. Configuration Control applies. The solicitation terms include FOB: Destination and Inspection/Acceptance: Destination. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) will apply. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The provision at 52.2112-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
