- The US Army Contracting Command, Rock Island IL (ACC-RI) has a requirement to obtain calibration services for the CAAA Gage Lab. The contractor shall be an Accreditied A2LA and ISO 17025 Certified Calibration lab for calibration of mechanical and electronic gages, and TMDE. Services will be in direct support of production and manufacturing at CAAA. ACC-RI intends to issue request for proposal W52P1J-13-R-3060 on or about 1 Oct 2013 with closing date 30 days beyond issue date. The solicitation and amendments will be posted via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.fbo.gov. It is the vendor's responsibility to check these sites daily for the any posted amendments or other changes. The solicitation will be a 100 percent small business set aside (as defined under NAICS code 541380) and will result in award of a firm fixed price contract for the base year and 4 option years. Contractors providing supplies or services to the Department of Defense shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ or contact Service Desk URL: http://www.FSD.gov 866-606-8220(8AM - 8PM Eastern Time). This solicitation requires online certifications and representations (ORCA) found at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Failure to complete the ORCA registration may make an offeror ineligible for award.
