- The Department Of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Asteres Inc., 4110 Sorrento Valley BLVD., San Diego, CA 92121. Asteres Inc. Furnish all necessary labor and materials to perform maintenance and Software support, Software License Subscription and Service Support for the ScriptCenter Equipment (Kiosk). Services shall be performed in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in the performance work statement. The place of performance is the Dwight D. Eisenhower VAMC Leavenworth Campus Domiciliary. The Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center is located at 4101 S. 4th Street, Leavenworth KS, 66048. The NAICS code is 541512 with a size standard of $25.5 Million. The solicitation number is VA-255-13-Q-1701. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of twelve (12) months. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 17 September 2013 at 12:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement VA255-13-Q-1701 Notice of Intent. If after 17 September 2013, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department Of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Asteres Inc. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
