- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION VA IT Virtual Campus Operations and Support Services This Request for Information (RFI) is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The purpose of this RFI is to identify qualified contractors, who are able to meet VA's requirements for VA IT Virtual Campus Operations and Support Services. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the VA in developing its acquisition strategy and PWS. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires VA IT Virtual Campus Operations and Support Services in support of Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Information Technology Workforce Development (ITWD). The VA IT Virtual Campus Operations and Support Services will provide a training and collaboration platform to deliver virtual meetings and conferences. The Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. It is requested that the vendor respond to the following questions: a.Provide a detailed summary of your technical approach to meet the requirements detailed in the draft PWS. b.Has the draft PWS provided sufficient detail to describe the technical and functional requirements that encompass the desired solution? ______ YES _______ NO (if No, answer question c) c.If "NO", please provide your technical and functional comments/recommendations on elements of the draft PWS that may contribute to a more accurate, cost efficient solution? Please submit responses no later than 5:00pm EST on September 18, 2013, via e-mail to mark.mezger@va.gov.
