- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is VA262-13-Q-1736 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-69. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811211with a small business size standard of $10.0M.This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. The solicitation will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on September 17, 2013 at 2 PM PST. FOB Destination shall be North Las Vegas, NV 89086. The VHA NCO 22 - 593 - Southern Nevada Healthcare System requires the following items: This is a non-personnel services contract to provide LMR Hand Held Terminal Support Maintenance. The contractor shall furnish and install the following as needed: Contractor shall offer a full maintenance service plan for subscriber units. This includes all subscriber equipment be it trunked or conventional, and with clear and encrypted technology. Radios under this plan will be repaired or replaced if repair is not feasible. Harris warranty conditions are applicable. Support is provided by authorized service centers and the Harris Depot Repair facilities. Due to the proprietary nature of the current Harris Corp. end user radios, only Harris factory technicians can perform factory authorized service on these devices Capabilities include, but are not limited to: Subscriber Device Maintenance -Utilizing state-of-the-art test equipment and providing board level repair to equipment manufacturer standards. -Shipping to and from the Government location included in the service pricing. -Harris facilities are Factory Mutual Registered. -Contractor shall be qualified to receive shipments and service of AES-encrypted subscriber equipment and network security software for site network security. -All local repairs and upgrades will be completed by factory authorized service centers and technicians Monthly Maintenance Report Contractor will prepare a monthly report of all service requests and preventative maintenance activity. These reports will be submitted to the appropriate VA personnel no later than the 5th working day after the end of each month. The maintenance reports will provide the following at a minimum: -Complete listing of all maintenance activities from the previous month -Update of any open maintenance issues -Listing of all open tickets and anticipated resolution dates -Any system tests from the previous month to include original and final test readings, corrective measures taken, and tested equipment specifications. This shall be a "Turn Key" service in that the vendor shall supply all needed parts, labor, and personnel listed above to perform this agreement.. Services shall be provided at the VASNHC locations. Estimated Period of Performance September 23, 2013 - September 22, 2014 with three option periods. Dates and places of delivery and acceptance and FOB Destination. This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines.
