- The AFTC Installation Contracting Division/PZIOAC, Eglin AFB FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract for an ACL tunnel preparation instrument system under the authority of FAR 13.106(a)(1) to Depuy Mitek, Inc., 325 Paramount Dr, Raynham, MA 02767. Anticipated award date is 19 September 2013. This sole source will be made due to the offering of a unique biocomposite, which has published long term clinical data demonstrating successful resorbsion to bone. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 339112, small business size standard: 500 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes, however all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The government will consider all responses received within 5 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
