- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District intends to solicit on a single-source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Honeywell International Inc, doing business as Honeywell. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is to supply and install Pro-Watch updates to the existing Pro-Watch security software within the Walla Walla District of the US Army Corps of Engineers. The Government intends to acquire a commercial supply using FAR Part 13. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to provide the requirements, in writing, to the identified point of contact no later than 11:00 AM Pacific Time Zone on 16 September 2013. Your response must demonstrate your firm's capabilities and experience. These will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort with full and open competition, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFQ will be issued, based upon this Notice of Intent.
