- Laerdal SimView equipment to include installation, operator demonstration and training for five RTS Medical personnel. The products provided, installed and demonstrated shall be as follows deliverables: 8 each PN: 216-00341 SimView Pc- Digital; Each SimView Pc- Digital includes the following: A desktop computer, LCD Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, BNC to RCA adapters, AV adapter Cable, RCA to 3.5mm Cable, SimView Software, 5 SimViewer licenses and directions for use 16 each PN: 216-05133 SimView Digital Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) Networkable with cables 16 each PN: 216-83050 SimView Basic Set-Up; Each SimView Basic Set-Up includes the following: On-Site set-up of the SimView PC, Connection of all cameras and microphones to SimView PC, Documentation of system layout, Diagrams of power requirements and signal flows, Test for functionality, Training for 5 students. The SimView Pc Simultaneously connects to and controls the cameras along with 3G SimMan medical manikins. The instructor records video, audio and vital signs for the manikins on the SimView Pc, while running/ adjusting medical training scenarios through the SimView Pc equipment. The computer, software, monitor, keyboard and mouse are the tools the instructor uses to operate the 3G SimMan and cameras. The cables provided with the equipment are used to connect all the equipment to the SimView Pc., which is the receiver, storage and output of the medical patient training scenarios ran by an instructor. Authority Cited: FAR 6.302-1: Only one or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and No Other Type of Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) & (2)(i): For actions for commercial supplies and/or services greater than the SAT but not exceeding $6.5M, the citation is: Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. Although the SimView equipment is a commercial Item, Laerdal Medical Corporation is the sole developer and manufacturer of the SimView equipment for the 3G SimMan. There are no other sources for fulfilling this requirement for this highly advanced training scenario simulations equipment and software that will integrate with the 3G SimMan. The SimView is a component of the 3G SimMan that allows control and manipulation of the medical manikin and recording of data to include vitals, movement and training conducted. It is critical to the training platform to standardize equipment used for specific medical tasks and testing of medical skills. The 3G SimMan and SimView components are used throughout all military branches of service for standardized training and testing of medical Soldier skill sets
