- INSERT: quote mark Building 910 Annex: There are (2) 10'-0 quote mark ground rods at the north corners of the building for the Lighting Arrester System. These will have to be reworked and retested by a certified company with the test results submitted to KYANG. A possible company to use that the base uses for certified testing is Bluegrass Lighting Consultatns, Inc., Bloomfield, KY, POC: Kris Phillips at 502-673-8866 or 502-727-1461. INSERT: 3 photos. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is a total SMALL BUSINESS set-aside. It will be a firm fixed price contract. This acquisition is being synopsized under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238110. The small business size standard is $14,000,000.00. The work requirements to be performed by the offeror consists of providing all plane, labor, new and current material, transportation, tool, equipment appliances, supplies, services, permits, insurance and supervision necessary to complete the paving projects at the Kentucky Air National Guard, Louisville, KY 40213. All work shall be in conformance with the requirements of the contract including furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management and other services (including engineering/technical design support), items and incidentals necessary thereto. The work is required in support of the 123th Civil Engineering Squadron, Base Civil Engineering activities. The solicitation and subsequent amendments will be issued via FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office. Telephone requests will not be accepted. You must register on the FedBizOpps.gov website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. The SAM site is https://www.sam.gov/index.html. The solicitation is attached and it is important to read the solicitation COMPLETELY, as there are milestones that MUST be met by the prospective offeror in order for the proposal to be considered responsive. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this solicitation. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time.
