- This synopsis is a sources sought notice being used to conduct market research. This is a Request for Information (RFI) for a tentative requirement for Wash Rack Operation and Maintenance Services. No RFQ exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to this RFI are not quotes on which ACC-RI can issue orders. ACC-RI is issuing this RFI to determine if an adequate number of qualified interested contractors are capable of performing Operation and Maintenance Services for Wash Rack and Rinse rack services in the Kuwait AOR. The Government will use the responses received for information/planning purposes and to identify potential sources as part of market research. All information received in response to this RFI marked quote mark Proprietary quote mark will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. ACC-RI will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Qualified vendors please submit RFI responses to: Mary Beth Ford at marybeth.ford2.civ@mail.mil, phone number 309.782.2723 by 27 September 2013, 0800 CT. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this Request for Information (RFI) notice for Wash Rack Operation and Maintenance Services in support of Area Support Group (ASG) - Kuwait Director of Logistics (DOL) by providing the company's capabilities of meeting the draft performance requirements and sixty (60) days of contract award transition capability. If an interested candidate cannot meet the 60 day performance requirement, capability statement shall include what timeframe can be accommodated and the rationale for needing the additional time. Services required include, but are not limited to: all resources and management necessary to perform wash rack and rinse rack operations safely and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the pressure washers and equipment utilized at each facility. A draft Performance Work Statement is attached for your reference. The Draft PWS describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of services and may vary from the work scope in a final PWS included in any future Request for Quotes (RFQ). The anticipated period of performance is 12-months with 4 one (1) year options and the contractor may be required to perform work at the following locations in Kuwait: Camp Arifjan, Kuwait Naval Base (KNB), Camp Buehring and rinse rack services at the Sea Port of Debarkation (SPOD). Capability statement shall include the following: company name, point of contact, address, telephone and fax numbers, website and email addresses, brief description of company and its capabilities to perform the operations and maintenance of a Wash Rack and Rinse services contract in accordance with the draft PWS and meet the 60 day transition timeline, brief descriptions of recent and relevant projects for tasks similar to those in the Draft PWS, duns number, cage code, tax id number, as well as size category and socioeconomic status.
