- Justification and Approval Document The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to make a sole source award to SNR Denton US LLP 233 S. Wacker Dr. STE 7800, Chicago IL 60606-6491. This is a continuation of services. The contractor shall continue providing Outside Legal Counsel Services in regard to the AMR Corporation matter. The contractor shall provide advice and Counsel in matters pertaining to Chapter 11 or any ensuring Chapter 7 bankruptcy of AMR, and non-bankruptcy workout or restructuring, subsequent negotiations, and related litigation that impacts the interest of PBGC. The contract action is being sought under the FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(iii), Industrial mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services (To acquire the services of an expert or neutral person for any current or anticipated litigation or dispute). A Justification and Approval is attached. The Period of Performance is September 23, 2013 through September 22, 2014. This is not a request for proposals but a Notice of Intent to award. No solicitation will be issued. Interested parties may, however, request further information (no later than no later than 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, on September 18, 2013) by email to the Contracting Officer, Mark Miller at miller.mark@pbgc.gov.
