- LABELING INSTRUCTIONS SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWING FOR THE TYPE N CONNECTOR. ATTACHED IS THE RFQ FOR THE TYPE N CONNECTOR. COMPLETE ALL APPLICABLE ITEMS AND RETURN PAGES 1-4. ALSO ATTACHED IS THE PACKAGING/MARKING REQUIREMENT INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE APPLICABLE UNDER THIS REQUIREMENT. The U. S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Eastern Region Acquisition Division-Kansas City, (ERAD-KC), intends to solicit for purchase of 16 each Noise Source Type N Connector, IAW Drawing No. 2200450, Rev A. Note: There is no National Stock Number or Agency Stock Number associated with this item. This item is being purchased for the National Weather Service (NWS) to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The use of a different part from a listed suggested source of supply or a part from a non-listed suggested source of supply which meets the specifications shall occur only after review/concurrence and a first article qualification by the Government. The NAICS code for this action is 335999. The NWS special packaging/marking requirement will be applicable. All contractors doing business with the Government must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered with SAM. For more information and to register with the SAM, please access the following website: http://www.sam.gov/. In order to register with the SAM offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet number. A Dun & Bradstreet number may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet on-line at http://www.dnb.com/product/eupdate/requestOptions.html or by phone at (800) 333-0505. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package is attached to this notice. Offerors may submit their proposal to email address karen.l.christian@noaa.gov or fax to 727-664-3622. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the Agency. All interested parties will be required to sign, date and provide a DUN & Bradstreet number with their quote.
