Description

Wilmington VA Medical Center (WVAMC), Contracting Department intends to procure via sole source with Krueger-Gilbert Health Physics, Inc., 1118 Baldwin Mill Rd Jarrettsville, MD 21804, for Health Physics Survey Services. Krueger-Gilbert has been determined the only vendor who can meet the required response time. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 541990. The size standard is $14.0 Mil. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement must submit information about their capabilities no later than 09:00 AM EST, 09/19/2013. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, April.Stanch@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, WVAMC Contracting Department will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Krueger-Gilbert Health Physics, Inc.
