- GAMS OAAM Memory Expansion Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBID (http://www.fedbid.com/). The RFQ number is HE1AA-Q-13-0083 is listed as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-68. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at this address: http://farsite.hill.af.mil. This is a simplified acquisition 100% set aside for small businesses. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 423430 - Computer & Computer Peripheral & Software Merchant Wholesalers and small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. GSA plans to award a commercial item purchase order for: Item 1: Qty twenty-eight (28) Spare: 4 GB DDR2-667 FB-DIMM Ship to Address: General Services Administration 1500 E Bannister Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131 Item 2: Qty twenty-four (24) - Spare: 4 GB DDR2-667 FB-DIMM Ship to Address: General Services Administration 819 Taylor St, Fort Worth, TX 76102 The purpose of this procurement is to host the additional component of the Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) product suite, such as Oracle Adaptive Access Manager (OAAM), which is required to expand current physical main memory of Oracle Solaris servers. Without additional main memory, while adding the new OAAM component to existing software configuration, our current Solaris servers will not be able to perform at a satisfactory level, to meet our business requirement, which need to support a user population of more than 20,000, with an average of 5,000 logon activities daily. No refurbished products. Award will be made to the Offeror whose quote is technically acceptable and lowest price. This announcement will close at 12:00 PM EST on Friday, September 13, 2013. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
