- This clarification derived from Offeror question provides for further definition of the Clean Dry Air (CDA) fittting requirement listed in Appendix A for the chemical workstation for acids: it is 1/4" OD tubing for 80-110 PSI at 10 liters/minute CDA. Please note that all other Offeror submission workstation requirements outside of or supplement to these posted chemical workstations' requirements will be listed as priced options in Offeror quotes. The Request for Quote (RFQ) due date remains the same at September 19, 2013 at 12:00 pm (Pacific). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) Request for Quote (RFQ) announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ reference number is HQ0727-13-Q-1328. This RFQ is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 334516 and the size standard for this requirement is 500 employees. DPAS rating is DO-A7. Offerors quotes are due to the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) contracting office by 12:00 pm (Pacific) on September 19, 2013 and will be electronically sent by email to Ed Kurjanowicz at edward.kurjanowicz@dmea.osd.mil. Quotes will be valid for a minimum of 60 days. The purpose of this combined synopsis/solicitation is to procure two (2) new chemical workstations: one workstation ducted for acids and the other ductless for solvents in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW) 13-3E0 Rev 1 and Appendix A. Appendix A details the two chemical workstations' features/specifications. Both chemical workstations provided should be from the same manufacturer and generally have the same working height and appearance. Delivery of the two chemical workstations to DMEA is within sixty (60) days after contract award. The contract line items (CLINs) for this purchase order are as follows: CLIN 0001 - Contractor shall furnish one (1) new ducted Chemical Workstation for Acids in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW) 13-3E0 Rev 1 and Appendix A. CLIN 0002 - Contractor shall furnish one (1) new ductless Chemical Workstation for Solvents in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW) 13-3E0 Rev 1 and Appendix A. CLIN 0003 - Contractor shall furnish shipping/handling of the two (2) Chemical Workstations (CLINs 0001 and 0002) in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW) 13-3E0 Rev 1 and Appendix A. Delivery Address is 4234 54th Street, McClellan, CA 95652-2100. Proposals will be submitted and priced in accordance with the CLIN requirements (provide price for each CLIN and total price for all CLINs 0001 thru 0003) and also include Offeror's company name and address, Cage Code, DUNS Number, shipping, delivery, and payment method, and company point of contact name, telephone number, email address and other information in the provided RFQ#PR3RJ3E001 attachment. The Government will award a best value, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA); correctly operating as designed by manufacture; and all items received will be new, genuine products entitled to a full manufacturer's warranty.
