- Description
- The Government hereby issues its notice of intent to sole source to RSSI Barriers LLC for the purchase upgrade of the existing Anti-Vehicle Barriers at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. It was determined that the Anti-Vehicle Barriers system is a proprietary system wholly owned by RSSI, LLC designed specifically to support the existing Anti-Vehicle Barriers system at Ellsworth AFB. It is also determined that RSSI Barriers LLC is the only source that can provide the requested upgrade without substantial duplication of cost and delays to the Government. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the Government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror's ability to meet all requirements. The Government will consider all EOIs received prior to 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
