Description
Questions and Answers 1. How are the amounts in line items X002 & X003 to be determined? Is this an NTE Amount the government will provide for all bidders? This is not an NTE amount. Line item X002 will be determined from 1.6 of the Performance of Work Statement. Line item X003 will be determined from 1.7 of the Performance of Work Statement. 2. How would we know what amount of system need repairs to put a number in X003? In Accordance with the statement of work para 1.7: The contractor will notify the government representative of any corrective maintenance that may impede a system or component from operating within the manufacturer's standards. The government representative will authorize weither or not this maintenance is to be performed and after this notification the contractor has 5 working days to bring the system back into working order. 3. What fire alarm or halon systems are currently in trouble or alarm? What devices are zones are currently in trouble or alarm? It varies. I referred this to my customer and he illustrated that he could provide a snap shot which can illistrate a list of troubles within a blocked period of time. However this will just be an estimate and may not be an accurate assessment. There could be times in which there are no troubles for an extended period. 4. How will the current troubles and alarm be handled? These troubles will be handled in accordance with 1.8 Emergency Services of the Performance of Work Statement. 1. Requesting some clarification on SOW..section 3.1 and systems listed in appendix A is that section 3.1 includes bldg. 457 and appendex A does not.Can you verify which is correct? Section 3.1 is correct
