Description

309th SMXG/ 516SMXS/MXDEB/ PZIMC intends to issue a brand name contract to purchase ASCOR 8000 Series RF Signal Switch to the contractor (Gigi-Tronics). The 516th Software Maintenance Squadron (SMXS) has been tasked with support of F-16 Operational Flight Program Engineering Stations (OFPES) which are used to development of F-16 updates, provided by the Avionics Integration Support facility (AISF). Notice of Intent to award a brand name Procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government intends to issue a brand name contract to the contractor (Gigi-Tronics) which will provide ASCOR 8000 Series RF Signal Switch, contracting by Negotiation. This requirement is considered brand Name due to the OPF Switch needing to be identical to the current functioning and existing software used in the F-16 OFP. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334515 (Instrument manufacturing for measuring and testing) with a small business size standard of 500. This notice is a request for competitive proposals and all other interested contractors shall submit a capabilities document which states their abilities on fulfilling this requirement.
