- Question: Can you indicate where the "slightly inaccurate information," lies in the purchase specification? Answer: "Slightly inaccurate information" might not be the best way to say it but rather "incomplete". If we knew what every spec needed to be we could have included it in the purchase spec. We included everything we knew we needed but this is why we need a converter that has proven to work with the F-35. The converters that have actual use being used for the F-35 have already gone through extensive design work and testing to modify and improve their converters to interface with the aircraft accurately. There may be more essential requirements unknown to the government that were determined during the design and testing phase of existing converters that if left out would result in a converter that does not work properly with the aircraft.
