- Description
- The 5th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for a one (1) year extended warranty on the EST2000 system and simulated weapons located at Minot AFB, ND. This warranty agreement is to include a one year extended warranty on quantity one (1) 10-lane EST2000 system, ten (10) simulated M16 weapons, ten (10) simulated M4 weapons, ten (10) simulated M9 weapons, two (2) simulated M240B weapons, one (1) simulated MK19 weapon, one (1) simulated M249 weapon, one (1) simulated M4/203 weapon, one (1) simulated M136 weapon, and one (1) simulated M1200 weapon to Minot AFB, ND. In addition, this agreement shall include upgrade of two (2) projectors currently on site. The 5th Contracting Squadron intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The 5th Contracting Squadron intends to enter into a firm, fixed-price contract with Cubic Simulation Systems, Inc., 2001 W. Oak Ridge Road, Suite 100, Orlando, Florida 32809. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811219 with a size standard not to exceed $19 million. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
