- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 10, anticipates soliciting quotes and consequently awarding a purchase order for a Phacoemulsification Machine for the Cleveland VA Medical Center. The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and will be evaluated with procedures therein. The solicitation will be advertised as Full and Open Competition. Offeror shall provide the systems as well as any associated products. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order in accordance with all the terms, conditions, provisions and specifications of the solicitation. The NAICS code is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 18, 2013. Quotes will be due September 24, 2013. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.
