- This solicitation is for a multiple-year Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) for the acquisition of the following: 6140-01-506-3334 ( BATTERY STORAGE ) not to exceed 36 months or $150,000.00, whichever occurs first. The estimated Annual Demand is 176 each. This solicitation will be available for download on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on or about 10/3/2013; however, **DIBBS quotations are not acceptable for this solicitation.** Quotes must be submitted on hard copy of the RFQ and either faxed to the attention of Claudia DiSalvo at 614 693 1572, or scanned and emailed to claudia.disalvo@dla.mil Note - Though this is an RFQ, the solicitation can only be found by searching RFP/IFB Database in DIBBS. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. NAICS Code is 335911 - The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings/specifications will be available through DIBBS. (If applicable) The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 3 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 6140. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved source: POWER-SONIC CORP (56309). ALL VENDORS MUST SUBMIT TRACEABILITY WITH PROPOSAL EXCEPT FOR Power-Sonic Corp. (56309) It is requested that you provide traceability to Power-Sonic Corp. (56309), P/N PS-1250 F2. Acceptable traceability will be in the form of the following documentation: - Provide a copy of the purchase order placed with Power-Sonic Corp. (56309) citing the exact part number and quantity (with only the price blacked out) and the order confirmation or invoice from Power-Sonic Corp. (56309) (on their letterhead) or; -If parts were procured from a dealer/distributor, you must provide a copy of that purchase order, accompanied with a currently dated letter from Power-Sonic Corp. (56309) stating the company you procured from is an authorized dealer/distributor. (Websites are NOT acceptable). All traceability documentation submitted must be unedited and include unit price, quantities, dates and shipping costs. Omitting any of these requirements or submitting illegible documents will be construed as your firm's failure to comply with the traceability requirement. YOUR FAILURE TO SUBMIT TRACEABILITY AS OUTLINED ABOVE WILL NECESSITATE REJECTION OF YOUR QUOTATION/OFFER AS BEING TECHNICALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
