- The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract for a rental facility where ten (10) 48-hour weekend retreats for the Chaplain Religious Enrichment Development Operation (CREDO) events will be held on dates that have been predetermined in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) as required by the Commander Navy Region Mid-Atlantic. The rental facility will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be for the period of approximately (22 NOV 13 - 28 SEP 14). This procurement is unrestricted. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 19 September 2013 by downloading the documents at the Federal Business Opportunities Website as follows: https://www.fbo.gov. DO NOT use the "submit bid" button on FBO to submit your quote. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 721110; the business size standard is $30.0M. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
