Description

The VA Medical Center located in Indianapolis, IN has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, material, travel, parking fees, vehicles, and supervision necessary for providing snow removal, snow hauling (off campus), and deicing services for the VA Medical Center, 1481 W 10th St. Indianapolis IN and 2601 Cold Spring Rd Indianapolis IN, in accordance with all terms, provisions and conditions in the Statement of Work. Contract period will be from date of award (approximately November 1, 2013) to 30 September with the possibility of 4 (1) year pre-priced option periods exercised at the option of the Government. Total contract duration will not exceed 5 years. It is the VA's intent to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. This procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 13.5 and will be advertised as a small business set-aside procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 561790. A small business size standard of $7 million applies to this code. Solicitation packages will be available on or about September 23, 2013 and will be due on or about Oct 16, 2013. This requirement is subject to the availability of Fiscal Year 2014 funds. No hard copy solicitation will be provided. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov.
