- SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT - VA261-14-R-2188 Due: October 25, 2013 (estd.). Maintain ph meters at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. This is a Souces Sought Announcement only to determine if there are sufficient numbers of firms to justify a Service Disabled/Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB) or Small Business set aside for this requirement. Contractor to provide all expertise, trained personnel, equipment and supplies to maintain four ph meters located throughout the facility. Awardee shall perform monthly and annual maintenance including calibration, cleaning, and data logging. The NAICS code is 811310, size standard of $7.0 million applies. Product Service code of J065 applies. The actual solicitation with complete details should be posted on or about October 11, 2013. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. All questions must be submitted in writing, questions may be faxed to W. Ulibarri, (650) 849-0395 or emailed to bill.ulibarri@va.gov. You may also mail to William Ulibarri, Network Contracting Office (NCO21), VAPAHCS, Bldg. T-50, 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304. Award without discussions is intended. Electronic solicitation may be accessed at no cost at www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendment issued against this solicitation will also be available from the same URL addresses. Contractor is responsible for submitting all documents required electronically in accordance with the solicitation, including any amendments which will be posted on this website. Solicitation is also subject to availability of funding. Quotations shall be submitted on an all or nothing basis. Partial quotations will be rejected. Quotations shall be valid for 60 days from offer due date. The following clauses and provisions may apply as appropriate plus any addenda: This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-69, however this may be updated as warranted. Offeror shall submit all information with offer as required in 52.212-1; a completed copy of provisions 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications. Offerors are required to register in SAM - System for Award Management, located at: https://www.sam.gov. Offeror may obtain copies of the referenced provisions and clauses at http://arnet.gov/far and http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/vaar/ or by sending an email to the Contracting Officer at bill.ulibarri@va.gov. The Contracting Officer may add any additional contract requirements or terms and conditions (such as contract financing arrangements or warranty requirements) determined by the Contracting Officer to necessary for this acquisition and consistent with customary commercial practices. A site visit may be announced via solicitation amendment and/or the statement of work. Small businesses, especially veteran-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, are encouraged to contact their nearest Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) if assistance is needed in preparing their proposal.
