- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), as a Full and Open Competition. The U.S. Army, an agency of the Government, intends to procure the following Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) items: All items are requested to be quoted and specified by the vendor as BRAND NAME ONLY: CLIN: 0001 - HP SSC SCA B20 SE SW E-LTU (1 ea) Part #TF307AAE CLIN: 0002 - HP FORTIFY RTA SERVER SW-E-LTU (1 ea) Part #TF316AAE CLIN: 0003 - HP FORTIFY PTA SERVER SW E-LTU (1 ea) Part #TF314AAE CLIN: 0004 - HP SSC B20 REG USER SW E-LTU (1 ea) Part #TF312AAE Service Agreement ID (SAID): 1039-9630-2580 Other Information/Requirements: 1.It is the responsibility of the Offeror to insure that their Offer is compliant with ALL provisions of the FAR and its supplements. The Government MAY but is not obligated to consider the Offer of any Offeror that is non-compliant with any provision of the FAR and its supplements. Furthermore, the Government is NOT required to inform any Offeror that their Offer is non-compliant with the FAR or any of its supplements. Failure of an Offer to comply with any provision of the FAR and its supplements can be deemed by the Government as insufficient and non-responsive to the solicitation. 2.For this acquisition, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 541519 and the FSC is 7030. A Set-Aside will not be utilized. 3.Delivery address shall be: US Army Analytics Group (AAG) Attn: Jim Lucius 5253 Business Center Drive, Suite A Fairfield, CA 94534-1795 4. The Period of Performance will be: 30 September 2013 - 29 September 2014. NOTE: Accelerated delivery at no additional cost to the Government is accepted and encouraged. Packaging requirements shall be in accordance with Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging (ASTM D 3951-98). Inspection and acceptance shall be at DESTINATION. Shipment will be FOB Origin. IMPORTANT: All Contractors must provide as part of their proposal package a technical proposal that is sufficiently detailed to prove that the commercial product(s) they are offering meet all the salient characteristics. BASIS FOR AWARD: The Government intends to make an award to the Contractor who submit Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) product and is deemed acceptable and responsible by the Contracting Officer. The formula to determine the lowest price vendor for items CLIN 0001 through CLIN 0004 -will be as follows: The government will add CLINs 0001 through 0004 and the award will go to the vendor with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable proposal for all CLINs. Meaning, there will be one award for this solicitation. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to make no award under this solicitation.
