- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement along with Request for Quotations (RFQ) Number AG-6395-S-13-0177 constitutes the entire solicitation. Proposals and price quotations are being requested. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. This procurement is for a commercial item; therefore, this combined synopsis/solicitation will result in a firm fixed price commercial supply purchase order. Responses are due on or before 1:30 pm Central, September 24, 2013. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 and the related small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement consists of two line items. Line item 001 will be a firm fixed price brand name ore equal; Varioskan Flash 100-120v T/B part number 5250050/sp with microplate RDR OPTIN luminometry part number 5250500/sp, UDROP Plate-Low Vol detection part number N12391/np. Line 002 will be installation and training. Salient characteristics are: Fluorescence intensity (top/bottom), Time-resolved fluorescence (TRP), Spectral scanning Luminometry, High sensitivity luminometry (flash and glow) UV/Vis photometry and Multilabel measurement (BRET, FRET, TR-FRET. Delivery and acceptance of deliverables will be FOB destination. The PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE of this purchase order shall be from date of award through acceptance and receipt of the delivered items. Technical and past performance when combined will be more important the price. Among other things, the evaluation will consider the instrument's features, accuracy and ease of use. Past performance will include the contractor's relevant prior customer service and providing reliable products. All proposal information and quotation shall be submitted no later than 1:30 p.m., central time, September 24 2013, and be clearly marked with Request for Quotation Number AG-6395-S-13-0177. Offerors are hereby notified that if your quotation is not received by the date/time and at the location specified in this announcement that it will be considered late.
