PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DUE DATE HAS NOT CHANGED. _____________________________________________________________ The Southwest Idaho and Nevada Acquisition Center anticipates awarding one contract for the removal and construction of approximately 15,400 linear feet of letdown fence on the Council Ranger District, Payette National Forest, in Idaho. MAPS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON OR AROUND SEPTEMBER 11, 2013 AND WILL BE POSTED THROUGH AN AMENDMENT. This project is for the removal and replacment of one exclosure fence with T posts, fiberglass posts and occasional gates and braces. This project requires removal, disposal, and replacement of approximately 15,400 feet of smooth 3-strand electric fence. The fence replacement will consist of constructing appoximately 15,400 feet of 4-strand barbed wire let down fence. Fence material that is removed from the site shall be transported to the Council Ranger District. The area is easily accessible and relatively flat with good soil for setting posts. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals to perform the work on the areas specified herein. The Government will provide all fence materials for the construction of the new fence. All aspects of the work program shall be performed in an organized and systamatic manner to assure that it is performed in a timely manner and complies with the technical specifications. The project area lies entirely within the boundaries of the Council Ranger District - Payette National Forest. Fence is located in Township 17 North, Range 2 East, Section 31 and Township 16 North, Range 2 East, Section 6 & 7. Site is accessible by East Fork Weiser River Road #172. Location is approximately 20 miles east of Council, ID. This is a small business set-aside under NAICS 238990-All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. The size standard is $14.0 (in millions of dollars). Per FAR 36.204 - Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price of this award is between $25,000 and $100,000.
