Description
This solicitation is amended to clarify that for ease of solicitation the items are listed together but can be quoted on separately. Each will be reviewed individually and can be awarded separately. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The reference number for this effort is W912ES-13-T-0158 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. (iv) This requirement is solicited as unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 333120 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. (v) This requirement consists of two (2) line items as follows: Line Item 0001 Purchase of a new wheel loader with Integrated tool coupler system (1 each) or one new integrated tool carrier machine. Item 0001 is to include a trade-in value for (2) used Case Wheel Loaders and shall be applied as a credit towards the purchase price of the new wheel loader. A cut/spec sheet is to be provided with the quote. Line Item 0002 Purchase of a new telehandler machine (1 each). A cut/spec sheet is to be provided with the quote. The scope of work is for the purchase of (1) new wheel loader with Integrated tool coupler system or (1) new integrated tool carrier machine and (1) new telehandler machine. Each machine must be new with no working hours on the machine other than operating hours. Machine must be equipped with all standard features installed from the manufacturer. In addition to the purchase of the new wheel loader, the vendor shall give a trade-in value for (2) used Case Wheel Loaders and shall be applied as a credit towards the purchase price of the new wheel loader. Details of the used Case Wheel Loaders are listed below. Each machine shall be delivered with (3) copies of the Owners Manual, Parts Manual, and Operators manual. The quotes for this solicitation shall include delivery, setup, test run and operational training. Upon delivery of the wheel loader and telehandler, the wheel loader and telehandler shall be inspected with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) personnel and the vendor to verify the condition of the wheel loader and telehandler before it is in the possession of USACE. The setup, test run and operational training shall be provided by the dealer within one week of delivery. Wheel Loader Specifications Max Gross Engine HP: Shall be at least 170HP Tier Rating of Engine: Engine shall be a Tier 4 Interim rated Fuel: Diesel Operating Weight: Not to exceed 36,000 lbs Breakout Force: Of at least 28,000 lbs Tires: 20.5xR25 Radial tires Bucket size: 3.0 cuyd to 3.5 cuyd Bucket types: (1) General Purpose, with bolt-on cutting edge and (1) General Purpose, with a toothed cutting edge Additional add-on items on the Wheel Loader or Integrated Tool Carrier: Cold start system equipped with a block heater Enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning Integrated tool coupler system (wheel loader models only) Forks attachment, Forks shall be a minimum of 60 quote mark in length Material handling/lifting arm attachment Manufacturer recommended counterweight for use of tool coupler system Machine shall be equipped with OEM installed crane pick points Additional factory work light packages installed on machine Optional tool box installed on machine equipped with required maintenance tools OEM installed rear view camera and monitor OEM installed load indicating device, if available from manufacturer Used Case Wheel Loaders (Please contact Scott Uhl to view the used Case wheel loaders) -(1) 1992 Case Model 821 Wheel Loader Product ID #: JAK0024301 Hours: 3,782 -(1) 1995 Case Model 821B Wheel Loader Product ID #: JEE0042897 Hours: 3,190 Telehandler Specifications Provide a new telehandler with a minimum of a 10000 lb carry capacity and a minimum of a 40' lift height, it shall also be equipped with stabilizers. The machine shall have an enclosed cab with a heater and air conditioning. The machine shall be equipped with a cold start system consisting of a block heater. The machine shall include work and road lights to ensure safe night operations and safe travel on public roads. Machine must be equipped with all standard features installed from the manufacturer.
