- J- PERFORM HOT OIL FLUSH ON THE NOAA SHIP GORDON GUNTER NOTICE DATE: SEPTEMBER 19, 2013 Notice Type: Pre-solicitation NAICS: 336611 - SHIP BUILDING AND REPAIRING Contracting Office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815, Norfolk, VA 23510 The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) is soliciting a requirement to perform a hot oil flush of the hydraulic system aboard the NOAA Ship Gordon Gunter, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work, "NOAA Ship Gordon Gunter HPU #1 Hydraulic System Flush (REV 2)". This RFQ is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611, which has a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees. Solicitation number EA133M-14-RQ-0001 will be issued September 19, 2013 and will close September 27, 2013. The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work is scheduled to start the date of award through October 15, 2013. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors specified in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or about October 3, 2013. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted).
