- The FAA has a requirement for National Instruments “ Common Principles II Products In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.1.2.1 - this announcement is to conduct a Market Survey for the purpose of soliciting statements of interest and capabilities from interested vendors. This announcement is NOT A SCREENING INFORMATION REQUEST (SIR) or REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Further, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. FAA via this market survey is seeking input from, but not limited to: Small Businesses, 8(a) Certified Small Businesses and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses to provide the goods as outlined below. This announcement is not intended to guarantee procurement of a product and shall not be seen as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will not pay for any information received or cost incurred in preparing the responses to this market survey or activities contained herein. Therefore, any costs associated with this submission are solely at the interested vendor's expense. Interested firms are required to submit a capability statement, the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter or VA decision letter, if applicable. Any firm that believes they have the ability to fulfill this requirement is requested to submit a capability statement outlining their firm's capability to provide the product requested. The FAA will evaluate the capability statements to determine if a particular firm can be regarded as a possible supplier. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes most related to this requirement are: 423430, COMPUTER AND COMPUTER PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE MERCHANT WHOLESALERS, 500 EMPLOYEES.
