- SOLICITATION FOR RECYCLING SERVICES Subject: Solicitation Notice for Wood and Organics Recycling Services Notice Date: 20 Sep 2013 Contracting Office: N44255 NAVFAC NORTHWEST T75A Skate Street Silverdale, WA 98315 NAICS Code: 562111 Recyclable Material Services Classification Code: 99-Miscellaneous Solicitation Number: N44255-13-R-9003 Response Date: NA Archive Date: 1 Nov 2013 Contact Points: Nora Williams 360-396-1501 Description: This solicitation follows the synopsis, which was posted on 19 August and ran thru 18 September 2013. The attached documents provide a copy of the solicitation and all required proposal forms and instructions to potential offerors of the solicitation for the receipt and disposal of industrial wood waste, food and compostable waste, and contaminated waste (including marine growth) in support of recycling operations for Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor, WA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 562111 Solid Waste Collection with a size standard of $12,500,000.00. This procurement will be 100% set aside for small business. The Government anticipates awarding a contract with a base period year and four, 1-year option periods in support of this requirement. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. The solicitation is hereby made available to potential Offerors. The date for receipt for proposals is 21 Oct 2013. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the internet. The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent small business set-aside. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require Offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance, and experience information, and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government.
