- Statement of Work for hangar exhaust fan. Request for Quote for hangar exhaust fan requirement. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/ SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS DEFENSIVE FIGHTING POSITION (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FAR 13.5 Applies to this acquisition. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M3E33262A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69 effective 3 September 2013. (iv) This acquisition is an unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 333413 with an 500 employee size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a lump sum quote, for 4 replacement fans and installation on the attached Request for Quote Sheet In accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Greencheck Fan Corp. model 73-BISW-21-1-II or equivalent i. Includes removal of old fan as well as installation and testing/balancing of all newly installed fans. A site visit will be conducted at Building 515 at 2:00PM (ET) on Monday, 23 September 2013. All prospective offerors shall meet on the second floor of Bldg 503, Charleston AFB. All prospective Offerors are urged to attend this conference and are requested to contact Nicholas Barrett, Contract Specialist at (843) 963-4541, Fax number (843) 963-5183, e-mail address nicholas.barrett.6@usaf.mil NLT 20 September if they plan to attend. Offerors are cautioned that JB CHS Weapons Station has visitor control procedures requiring individuals not affiliated with the installation to obtain a visitor pass prior to entrance. SOME DELAY SHOULD BE ANTICIPATED. Offerors should allow sufficient time to obtain a visitor pass (requiring valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and current proof of vehicle insurance.) Details regarding the information required will be provided upon request to Nicholas Barrett at nicholas.barrett.6@us.af.mil. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. (vi) The work to be performed by this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and tools necessary to provide four new exhaust fans per the statement of work on Joint Base Charleston, SC. (vii) Exhaust fans must be tested and installed no later than 30 days after the date of award.
