Description

Solicitation VA528-13-Q-0622 Patient Helpers - Mizuho OSI Issued: 09/20/2013 Due Date: 09/25/2013. The Buffalo VA Medical Center, Buffalo, NY, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Mizuho OSI, of /Union City, California, to provide patient helpers (aka "trapeze") and mounting sleeves for the hospital beds located at the Buffalo and Batavia medical centers. Mizuho OSI is the only company able to provide a patient helper that can be moved off to the side in the event of an emergency such as CPR/intubation and the associated sleeves for that product. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone inquiries will not be honored; however, interested parties may submit literature detailing how their services meet the VA requirements to the Contracting Officer. Responses received on or before September 25, 2013, 12pm (noon), will be considered. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice will be solely at the discretion of the government.
