Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 400, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, NCO 9 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with The University of Kentucky, 800 Rose Street, Lexington, Kentucky 40536-0001 for the delivery of 100 psi high pressured steam services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 221330. The contract will be awarded as an indefinite quantity priced contract. The contractor must be able to provide all of the items listed above. The requirement is unique in that there is direct delivery of 100 psi steam through existing piping with the Lexington, Kentucky VA Medical Center. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. However, responses from other than the above sources may identify their interest and capabilities to perform the requirement by submitting it in writing to the Network Contracting Office 9, ATTN: Stacey McClendon, 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 400, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 or Fax 615-849-3789 no later than September 25, 2013, 12:00 PM CST. The Government will not pay for any information submitted by respondents as a result of this notice of intent.
