Description

The subject requirement is an add-on project for nine Caterpillar sole source nsns that are on the Caterpillar price list. The total duration of the items on contract will be less than seven months. The solicitation is unrestricted with other than full and open competition. FOB destination is required and inspection/acceptance is at destination. The items are for customer direct support. Hard copies are not available. The nine sole source nsns cross reference to the Caterpillar commercial price list. These NSNs have been identified as sole source to Caterpillar, Inc., cage code 11083. Delivery orders will be issued against the contract for the following: Customer Direct (DVD) Priority 1-15 in support of CONUS and OCONUS requirements. The delivery schedule will be as follows: Customer Direct (DVD) is 4 days for CONUS and OCONUS for Cat 1 Pri 1-3 requirements, 7 days for Cat 2 Pri 4-15 NSTD, and 7 days for Cat 3 Pri 4-15 requirements. FMS requirements are not supported. OCONUS requirements are supported if there is a CONUS address for Caterpillar to ship to prior to going to the final overseas destination. Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c ) (1).
