Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Canandaigua VAMC is seeking a contractor to provide gas (Oxygen, Helium and Nitrogen) for Government owned tanks and contractor owned rental tanks as needed to support the needs of the following sites: 1.Canandaigua VAMC, 400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua, NY 14424-1159 2.Rochester Community Based Outpatient Clinic, 465 Westfall Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 3.Clinton Crossings Medical Complex, 919 Westfall Rd., Rochester, NY 14618 Contract period shall be from October 1, 2013, or date of award, through September 30, 2014 with the option for (4) option years beginning October 1, 2014 that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This is a small business set-aside acquisition and the solicitation will be issued using the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process. The proposals shall be emailed to richard.williams18@va.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424690, Other Chemical and Allied Products Merchant Wholesalers, and the Small Business Size Standard is 100 employees. Registration at https://www.sam.gov is required in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement via FedBizOps on or about September 19, 2013 with a closing date for proposals on or about September 26, 2013.
