- Arcata Associates has a requirement for 2 each NEXLOG740, 2 each 105301, 2 each 105314, 2 each 105306, 2 each 324430, 2 each 271009, 2 each 105284-016, 2 each 109033-003, 10 each 427165, 2 each Installation & Training. In Accordance with FAR 6.302-2, and Far 6.302-3 Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to purchase the following items from Goserco 7165 E University Avenue # 180 Mesa, AZ 85207 NexLog 740 Communications Logging Recorder, Mission-Critical and 911 Call Recording, VoIP, Digital Analog, RoIP, Radio, Incident Replay and Call Evaluation. Base system: 3U rack-mount, Intel Core2 Quad CPU, Dual NIC, Embedded Linux, NexLog base software, web-based configuration manager, 1st year warranty, 1st year base software update subscription. Features and Options -Integrated 7' Color LCD Touch Screen Display -105314 Upgrade to 4 x 1TB Hot Swap h/w-RAID5 = 3TBstorage -Two DVD-RAM Drives -Rack Mount Slides - 4 Post, 3U (for NexLog 740) Starter Pack: 4 Mediaworks licenses + 4 MediaAgent licenses -16-Channel Analog Card, 16 Ch. Licenses -Quick Install Kit (9ft. Connector Cable & Punch Block) -9.4GB Double Sided DVD-RAM Rewritable CDs (each) -Professional Services-Basic Professional services include the following: Installation, training and project management This is the same brand of recorder currently in use by NASA Protective Services at Dryden to record LMR and 911 system traffic. Connectivity is very similar to the current system so that installation will have minimal impact on NASA Protective Services' daily operations. Since this brand of recorder is in use in other areas within Dryden there is already a maintenance contract in place that we can easily add these recorders to. The biggest plus and money saver is that now spares can be shared between the areas using this recorder and there is no need to buy additional recorders or parts for backup. Terms and Conditions are attached and will apply to any purchase order that results from this solicitation. Attachments are titled RFES1 Terms and Conditions - Part 1 General Provisions and RFES2 US Government Terms and Conditions Part II FAR Clauses. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, qualifications and pricing to perform this effort in writing via email to DFRC-Arcata-Procurement@mail.nasa.gov no later than 2:30 p.m. pacific time on October 4, 2013. Such proposals will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by Arcata Associates, Inc. not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of Arcata Associates, Inc.
