Description
This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency (FAR 6.302-5); specifically, Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J&A is not required for this award. Remove existing carpet tiles in areas shown on drawings. Salvage for reuse. Remove existing ceiling tiles and grid in areas shown on drawings. Remove existing 2'x4' light fixtures in areas shown on drawings. Salvage for reuse. Remove existing light switches and wiring in areas shown on drawing. Remove mechanical supply and return diffusers in areas shown on drawings. Salvage for reuse. SUITE 2231 - Remove existing door and all related hardware including Maglock and all associated alarm wiring. Salvage for relocation. Provide and install new 3'-0 quote mark x 7'-0 quote mark SC Wood Door and hardware matching existing in building. Existing keypad in corridor to remain. Contractor shall remove existing Advantor Alarm keypad and associated wiring and salvage to reinstall at new location shown on drawing. Patch and paint wall to match existing. Contractor shall remove carpet in area of new wall and salvage for reuse. Contractor shall provide and install new full height wall (to true deck) with 3 5/8 quote mark 20ga. Metal studs, 5/8 quote mark Gyp. Bd. Each side with 3.5 quote mark sound attenuation batt insulation, tape, smooth texture, and paint to match existing. Contractor shall provide and install new HM grout filled frame, factory primed and field painted to match existing door frames in building. Install salvaged Maglock, BMS and associated wiring and connect to existing alarm system. Install salvaged door and hardware, Maglock and XO-9 latch mechanism. Contractor shall cut salvaged carpet and re-install around new wall. Contractor shall redo ceiling grid and tiles around new wall. Contractor shall relocate one (1) light as necessary to accommodate new wall. Contractor shall provide one (1) 2' x 4' lay-in fixture w/emergency battery back-up in new entry vestibule area. New light shall be connected to existing OCC. Sensor in ceiling and sever connection to main suite lights.
