Description

This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source contract using simplified acquisition procedures to procure rental of 12 parking spaces at City Center West Garage, 525 14th Street, Oakland, CA 94612, with Central Parking Systems, INC. The Government attempts to award a one year contract for the period below: Period of Performance: 10/01/2013 - 09/30/2014 The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to solicit only one source pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. A Sole Source Justification - Simplified Acquisitions has been documented in the contract file in writing. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit proposals. All responses received by the response deadline date will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice or proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Questions must be emailed to Mach Ngo at mach.ngo@irs.gov no later than 12:00 p.m., PST, Thursday, 09/26/2013. Questions received by mail, fax, or telephone shall not be accepted or acknowledged.
