Description

Project # 568-13-105 - Misc. Repair & Seal Masonry - Fort Meade, SD. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to complete all work dictated in the Statement of Work including the demolition, restoration, and cleanup of masonry on building numbers 46, 53, and 137 at the Fort Meade location of the Black Hills Health Care System located at 113 Comanche Road, Fort Meade, SD 57741. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary completion. Work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications and drawings, and all applicable VA and local codes. Solicitation Number VA263-14-R-6004 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about October 10, 2013. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit may be held. (See solicitation when available for Point of Contact for date and time of the Site Visit). Quotations are tentatively scheduled due on Tuesday November 12, 2013 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Payment Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 150 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
