For companies in all other countries, an export license from the State Department must be provided along with the company CAGE Code. **Please see attachments for Industry Day Attendees List. **Please see attachments for revised Schedule. **Please see attachments for Industry Day Questions and Responses **Additional attachment added to address Industry Day Questions and Responses (9/23/2013) The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) and the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS) will be hosting a High and Low Velocity 40mm Target Practice Day/Night/Thermal Industry Day on 22 May 2013 at the Homeland Defense Technology Center, Rockaway, NJ. Industry day will start at 9:00 EST with onsite registration beginning at 8:00. The purpose of this industry day is to provide information regarding the planned acquisition of engineering and manufacturing development and production of the High and Low Velocity 40mm Target Practice Day/Night/Thermal cartridges. This announcement should not be construed as a Request for Proposal or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day. Interested participants must pre-register for Industry Day by completing the registration form attached to this announcement. No more than five (5) representatives may attend from each company. This will be strictly enforced. All representatives MUST provide a government form of photo identification at registration. Please send the completed registration form electronically to Mr. Eric Wagner at Eric.J.Wagner1.civ@mail.mil, no later than 13 May 2013. A general session is tentatively scheduled for the morning. During this session the Government plans to cover the following: 1) Provisional Acquisition Strategy 2) Bid Sample Test Plan The general session will be followed by one-on-one sessions in the afternoon. Each one-on-one session will be approximately twenty minutes long. For planning purposes, companies interested in conducting one-on-ones must notify Mr. Wagner no later than 15 May 2013. A more definitive agenda will be posted at a later date. A draft bid sample test plan will be posted for review prior to the industry day. The Government encourages submission of any questions/comments/concerns/content suggestions regarding this document, or anything else, via the Q&A form provided as an attachment to this announcement. The forms should be provided to Mr. Wagner via email no later than 15 May 2013 to allow for discussion/response at the Industry Day. It is noted that these, and all, questions and answers will be posted to this Special Notice. Accordingly, information will NOT be treated as propriety, unless specifically stated otherwise; please be aware that keeping good ideas as proprietary may preclude them from being incorporated into the solicitation. The following Rules of Engagement (ROE) for the High and Low Velocity 40mm Target Practice Day/Night/Thermal Industry Day is provided to industry participants for their information: The Government intends to use this forum to better refine its requirements, not to elicit trade secrets. All information will be treated confidentially and discreetly. The contractor is encouraged to be honest and forthcoming. Contractor personnel shall be limited to a total of five attendees per participating company. No sales pitches allowed from industry; no give-aways. No cameras, tape recorders, or other reproduction devices are allowed. Total time allotted for the contractor's one-on-one session is twenty minutes. Under no circumstances will the allotted time be extended. Restrict comments/questions to the topics listed in this forum. Specific questions about the prospective RFPs will not be answered. Contractor personnel must be identified in advance, and only advance substitutions (24-hour in advance notice) will be permitted.
